I was using Koepi's OggMux 0.84 (with installed DS Filter 0.9.9.1) to mux an XviD Video Stream (Koepi's Build of 17-04-2002) with 5 vorbis audio streams. One of them I labelled german, one englisch and three were directors comments. Operating System was Windows 98.

When trying to play back this file with WMP 6.0 or BS Player 0.84 the file doesn't start to play (tryed the Xvid Playback Filter and the ffdshow Filter). Choosing another audio stream or chapter doesn't change this. At least the start frame of the new chapter was visible. With WMP 7.0 the video played, but also all of the 5 audio streams at the same time. Maybe that's an advantage if you haven't much time, but it's hard to understand anything in this way.

The problem didn't occured when I only used one or two audio steams - it didn't matter which 2 streams i used.

to make it clear:
xvid + chapters + 2 (or less) vorbis streams -> file played fine
xvid + chapters + 3 (or more) vorbis streams -> file didn't play

i tested a little bit more...

- I muxed the files again using Graphedit and regognized the same problem... seems to bee a bug in the OggDS Filter...

- I finally got the file playing (in WMP 6.4), but for this I had to switch manually between ALL of them. So I have to do this 6 times everytime I want to watch the movie.

- When looking at the properties tab in WMP (where all the used filters are listed) there are 5 'Default Direct Sound Devices' and 5 'Vorbis Decoder'. I don't know if this should to be so.

- Maybe also the OggDS 0.9.9.0 is affected, i haven't done multi-audio rips for some time.

But i also have to say that you're doing a great job. I just want to help finding this bug. If a sample of the file may help, I could of course provide it.

Tobias should be through here soon to look at this. One thing I will say though is that non NT versions of Windows have been problematic in the past. Tobias is developing on NT and as a general rule they work flawlessly there. But the old 9X series seem to be quirky. Does it only do this with all 5 streams but not with 4, 3, or 2? Or is it the same with more than one audio stream?

How about tryning not labelling man streams with the same language?
Does it work correctly if you label the first "directors comments", the next "french", the last "english" (well, in fact please don't use any language tag more than once).

Does it still not play?

@ Koepi: No, it doesn't help. Once I tried german + english + d.c. and another time german + english + danish. Both times the file didn't play without switching between all audio streams.

@ Neo Neko: With only one audio stream the file played without doing anything. When using more than one stream a had to switch between all of them.

I've also taken an older rip I did maybe 2 months ago (don't know which version of the filter i've used). Same problem here, I've also to switch between the streams.
