ps2 on a pc???

I know this probably isn't the place, but does anyone know of the possibility to rip ps2 games and play them on an emulator?

yes. of course.

there's a VERY good ps2 emulator for windows only (NOT linux). it playes GT3 nearly perfect.

I personally prefer to rip them to CDs since I don't have a DVD-R burner. Long games like FFX will have to go to 2 CDs while shorter ones like Max Payne I do on only 1.

I did a pre-release of Metal Gear Solid 2 on 2 CDs, but since the current TPX (Team PSX) rules say that all games with lower than 20 hours of play time must be 1 CD the release got nuked.

OK, so my next question is: how do you rip them to CD's? I've been doing movies for a while now, is it a similar concept? Any specific programs or guides you could point me to?
