Ahoy folks,

here it is!

Changelog:
21.04.2002 18:00h MET
- Version 0.8.3
- Made chapter editing a little more comfortable
- worked together with Tobias to make chapters work (filters version 0.9.9.1 needed!)

Don't use OggMux 0.8.2 anymore to add chapters, it doesn't work (ok, 0.8.2 with new 0.9.9.1 filters would work - and OggMux 0.8.3 should work with old filters ;) but old filters and old OggMux is a no-go to add chapter infos ;) )

Million thanks go out to tobias who helped me on that matter and continued developing chapter support for the filters :)

Best regards,
Koepi

Do you already know when Tobias will release the 0.9.9.1 filters to the public? Can't wait to try all my .ogms containing chapters already! :)

Oh, and of course: thanks to both of you for making all of this possible!

@Koepi
Nice work, as usual :D
Could you possibly add support for the Chapters file generated by ChapterXtractor? It is able to genrate a text file with the labels given on Tobias' website, but OggMux doesn't accept it.
Here is a sample of a text file generated by ChapterXtractor:
CHAPTER01=00:00:00
CHAPTER01NAME=Chapter 1
CHAPTER02=00:01:13
CHAPTER02NAME=Chapter 2
CHAPTER03=00:05:19
CHAPTER03NAME=Chapter 3

Thanks in advance,

Pasqui.

Well, if you absolutely want something to play with, change the "0990" in the download URL to "0991"...

Thanks...

Ok, parser for chapterXtractor OGG txt files is written.
Any other important formats to parse missing? I can't think of any...

Well, if not there will be a new release today ;)

I wrote the author of chapterXtractor to make him update his ogg export to reflect the latest, frame-accurate spec (hh:mm:ss.ttt instead of hh:mm:ss), and I built the parser for it tolerant, so if the file format gets updated it will instantly work as well :)

Koepi

I'm starting to get used to the OGM format...it's amazing to have highest video quality along with 4 audio streams on two cd's :)

As there seem to be lots of problems when splitting OGM using OggCut (well, at least with my file containing XviD video), I'm using the "split at" option of OggMux. But its rather imprecise or even useless to split a file of 1410 MB, because it produces a third file of 10 MB or so...

So i'd like to see more options for selecting a filesize, or even a blank field for entering the desired value myself.

Of course, I'd like it best to get OggCut working properly without crashes and frame-accurate ;)

Just some thoughts, keep on the excellent job!
