4:3 avi file encodes as 16:9

I have used both 1.07 bX and 1.08 b1 to encode an avi that I created in WinProducer. The source is 720X480 avi file.

The Conversion Tab in DVD2SVCD shows th aspect ratio to be 4:3(Encoded as 4:3), but I have encoded it to SVCD twice and the resulting image burns to a CD that plays 16:9 Letterboxed on PowerDVD 4. This happens since I started using 1.08 b1.

The video quality is great, just 16:9 (which causes distortion, as the source is 4:3). I am using CCE 2.5 as the encoder for both DVD2SVCD versions.

Anyone got any ideas for me?

Post the contents of the AVS and your DVD2SVCD_log.txt file using cut and paste from this encode. How are we suppose to know what happened if you don't give us enough info to go on?

I see the culprit in the avs:

I think I could probably fix this manually by removing that line and using Crash Recovery to start at the encode step... But it would probably be better to fix whatever causes this.

I know your might be thinking that the reason is that I used Crash recovery to start at encode, but the original run really was for the same avi, and I couldn't find anything to change in the DVD2SVCD front end ( it was already set to "4.3(No borders, encoded at 4:3)"

Might be a bug. Send this avs file along with the DVD2SVCD_Log.txt file and a quick explanation to the bug mail you will find on the about tab.
Use Recover, load the d2s file and after you have loaded it go to the frameserver tab and click edit as part of video encode. Then just delete that line.
If you load the d2s file after you clicked on edit as part of video then it will reset the edit back to original.

I did send a bug report with the complete systeminfo.txt file, but it did not tell me to include the .avs file (although this file had virtually everything but my mother's maiden name in it, so I wouldn't doubt that all the .avs files are included)
