Hi guys,
I made a simple tool to automate the VDub encoding using AVS file
created by GKnot. It automatically shutdowns the computer after
encoding has done.
You may need some VB runtime files. So, please download it
from Microsoft.
Please try it and give your comments.
Latest Version: AUTODIVX5 Ver.1.0.5 (07 May 2002)

For bug reports, please e-mail me at : llemor@lycos.com
- Added support for AC3 audio format (when the audio input is AC3 format, it automatically transcode it to MP3)
- Fixed bug when VirtualDub/NanDub resides on different drive as the source AVS files
AUTODIVX5 Ver.1.0.4 (03 May 2002)
http://www.freewebz.com/llemor/autodivx5_104.zip
- Added job list for batch encoding
- Added feature to save/open profile
- Some DivX parameters are set as default values
AUTODIVX5 Ver. 1.0.3 (28 April 2002)
http://www.freewebz.com/llemor/autodivx5_103.zip
- Separate encoding for Credits using 1-pass quality based mode
with quantizer=17 (48% quality)
- Added option for automatic adjustment of bitrate if needed,
requires to input target file size(MB)
(after getting the correct size of credits part)
- Added support for second pass / 2-pass VBR mode
- Shows source information (i.e. duration, frame count, frame rate)
- Capable to generate and view log file
- Enhanced configuration settings
AutoDivX5 Ver. 1.0.2 (24 April 2002)
http://www.freewebz.com/llemor/autodivx5_102.zip
- Added option to mux MP3 audio file
- Added option to delete temporary files
AutoDivX5 Ver. 1.0.1
http://www.freewebz.com/llemor/autodivx5_101.zip
I have fixed some bugs:
- previous version shutdown the system but no power off (already fixed for Win98SE and WindowsXP, for Win2K & WinNT i guess no problem too)
- "didn't find script file" happens when you opened first the VDub
path location prior to source path (avs file)
Additional feature:
Can save the VirtualDub program location via INI file.
Thanks
