If I want to create 1 minute chapters, can use a generic XML (just change the mpeg file name in the XML as necessary)?
I know I can't do this for SVCD.
Assuming I can, does it matter if there are chapter points in the XML that exceed those of the image size, e.g. a chapter point at 60 mins on a disc with 50 mins.
Thanks ;)

Well I was wrong about the SVCD thing, was not thinking straight at the time.
Tried it on a small sample and it didn't work well...then again I was only using 5 sec chapters (due to the short length).
There were a shitload of chapter points made at the end.
What would be really nice would be a command line tool that supports XML generation with chapters (i.e. a command line version of vcdeasy).
