View Full Version : Does DivX Pro 5.0 have any sort of luminance correction?

NanDub 1.0rc2 had this feature, where especially dark scenes could have the bitrate boosted (typically by 30 %) to avoid macroblocks.

Haven't noticed this as a prob with DivX5 yet but then I've only done 2 DivX5 rips.

Your experience appreciated

I think Psychovisual feature is similar to luminance masking...
