Hi

I just bought a Hauppauge DVB-s "NEXUS" to record digital TV via satelite(Astra). Now I would like to watch encoded sat TV(for example PREMIERE) but when I search the internet I do only find sites that say that you need more hardware(decoders, cards and so on). Isn't there a way to watch at least some programms only with software? If not wich additiv hardware is the best to do the job?
Wich software is able to cut mpeg2 Videos(*.pva)

If you want to create DivX you can use my program DVX v1.1, DVX uses VirtualDub for cutting. It is also good for DVD, that's why I called it DVX. You should also check out the german boards DVBmagic Forum, and the Happysat site and Forum and 4Freeboard. You can find there Info's about the best programs, my favorites are: DVBControl, WatchTVPro, ProgDVB and Channel List Editor.
