disk gives me error c13

hi i burnt the movie rush hour 2 and on my standalone it starts the movie logo and then it show the peview thing then when it suppose to show the warning the disk starts searching and then comes up with the error c.13 i dont get it i tied it on a pioneer cdrw and everything works great then i burnt it to a meritline purple disk got the error so i thought the disks then burnt it to a pioneer cdr and same thing resulted whats gong on..with it why does it work fine with cdrw but not the cdrs....

could someone help me?

With an error code like that no doubt you're using a Sony DVD standalone player?

Sony are notoriously known for demanding a DVD-compliant disc; if it is slightly off then it will refuse to play even if it might play in other machines.

Try using IFO to create a disc image and burn from that directly.

Did you use Prassi or Record Now DX? If you didn't, then try these as they verify the disc is compliant BEFORE burning.
