When I use DVD2SVCD to create a movie with CVCD subtitles (I haven't tried SVCD because my player don't support them) it seems that on the second cd the subtitles are two seconds to early. Which more or less makes everything I make with this useless. I would like the subtitles to appear when the should.
I've tried to create a .sub file myself (had to write a program that converted a .srt file to .sub) and all the time codes are different.
Can this be fixed with the 2 second delay or should I just remove that from that other panel in DVD2SVCD?
Thanks for your help.

Yep, here I have the same problem, only for me the subtitles are showing 2 seconds sooner on the 3th disk (3/3).
The first two disks of the movie are just fine, but on the third one there is something definitely wrong.
I mean, it's not that I'm complaining, cause this program it's real great as it is right now, and those two seconds aren't really so much trouble, but it would be nice to have those subtitles right wouldn't be?.
I guess those two seconds are due the overlapping somehow not been taken into account on the last disk (probably on envery last disks, tho' I haven't tested), I've done two movies: one ussing TMPGEnc and the other one using CCE both taking three disks and they both have the same problem with subtitles (on the last disk only)
Anyway, here's my .ini file:

Ok, Thanks for your time, let me know if you need anything else to figure this out :)

Ups, sorry about that, I never did see that you posted the ini file. Anyway, I have done a lot of testing and I just can't seem to get that kind of async be it on 2 or 3 cd's. This problem is this on each and every DVD you rip or just a few?
Oh, and I see you edit the AVS script, could you tell me what you change in the AVS?
While I'm testing you could try the version I attached in this thread:

Thanks for the new beta
Back to the 2 seconds async issue:
First I thought the problem would be present on every DVD, cause I had only ripped 2 of them and both had the exact same problem, but latter I ripped a third one and on this last one, something different happened: instead of subtitles showing two seconds earlier on the third SVCD disk, they were showing one second earlier on both second and third disks of the ripped DVD. Now that seems strange  before knowing that, I made a little utility to re-sync the SUB files to the correct timing so it added two seconds to each entry on the third disk's SUB file; unfortunely after adding those two seconds on the last disk and not knowing this time it would only be one second sooner, the last disk ended up having the subtitles 1 second latter :p
The AVS for the three rips have been different:
On the fist rip I made (showing subtitles sooner only on the last disk) the AVS was:
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AV~1.D2V")
SimpleResize(480,360)
AddBorders(0,60,0,60)
ResampleAudio(44100)
For the second rip (also showing subtitles two seconds earlier:
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AV~1.D2V")
SeparateFields()
SelectEvery(2,0)
SimpleResize(480,360)
AddBorders(0,60,0,60)
ResampleAudio(44100)
And for the third rip (the one showing subtitles one socond sooner on the second and third disks):
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\Prog\DVD-Rip\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AV~1.D2V")
SimpleResize(480,480)
ResampleAudio(44100)
I don't think the problem is caused while frameserving It's more likely to be between the bbMPEG and the submux multiplexing stages, just cause the sound and video are just fine, tho' I might be mistaking.
I'm keeping all the files of the last DVD I ripped and some of the files of the second one. If you need anything just let me know, I'm an experienced computers user so I might be helpful on traking this problem down :)
Thanks for your support.
