I tried to run SVCD Authoring again after having problems with bin files to see if that would fix my problem, but when i try to load the recover file i get an error message that says "FIle Not Found".

The recover file is there...I can see it in the folder, but it won't load. Any idea why? My log is below, and I will also post the notepad contents of my D2S file.

Hey belushi.
I had a similar problem yesterday.
I was encoding Superman, and I ran out of hard drive space.
This has happened before, and it's no biggie, I just delete the *.vob files, leave the *.ifo file, run crash recovery, and it picks up at the spot it left off.
But yesterday, when I deleted the *.vob files, it either took the *.ifo file too, or couldn't find it, becasue I too got the dreaded "File Not Found" message.
I wonder if it's a bug with this latest version.

I read in another post that if you uncheck ripping before using recover it will work. It errors because it is searching for the IFO file to rip, but cannot find it. I don't think I would call it a bug since it is part of a previous step and one that can be recovered.
So try this from now on. When you erase the files do not erase the IFO, it's small anyway or always make sure to uncheck ripping before you select the file to recover.

This is second hand info and I have not tried it myself.

misc tab...make sure you have 1.0.8 build 1 at least or preferably 1.0.9 build 1.

Where is the ripping option I can uncheck so I can load my project file?

Under DVD rip tab uncheck "Activate DVD Ripping".
