a modified flask0.6 version with LPCM support can be found here:
http://heiss.purespace.de/downloads.htm
You could also extract the sound by opening the vob's with DVD2AVI and then File=>Save project

I still cannot get Audio.
I have tried a section but to no avail. I noticed that when choosing the Audio player in Flask it doesn't play anything. Also, it detects the LPCM but it is not listed as being available in the drop down menu. Strange?
Oh well, i'll try the DVD2AVI route now.
I'll keep you posted.

Phew!!
I managed to get the Audio from DVD2AVI and thought i might be able to compress the Video whilst i was at it & HEY PRESTO!! it worked. Only, i'm a fussy so & so and noticed that the video is interlaced. Is there any way (seeing that this is the only prog that can manage the audio) that i can de-interlace the video with DVD2AVI?
Your help has been great.
Thanks in advance.:D

If it's NTSC@29 fps: try Forced Film,
If it's PAL@25fps: try Swap field order
The features might help, but won't do allways,.. somewhere on doom9s side there's an explanation about iVTC and interlaced material which might come handy for understanding what's going on ;)
If DVD2AVIwon't help u could still encode Video only with Flask/Xmpeg, extract Audio with DVD2AVI, mux the streams and encode audio while muxing with nanDub or Virtual Dub. (see also doom9s side a guide)

Ps.: If u use DivX5 u also might wanna check doom9s guide on that ;)

Thanks for your help. I have got the audio extracted. I compressed the video with DVD2AVI but the video, somehow, runs slow. I guess i'm not setting something correctly.
I'm gonna try Flask/Xmpeg as you suggest and then mux the audio with Virtual Dub.
Again Thanks for your help anyway.

i'm playing through Zoomplayer and the videon seems to be running at a slow frame rate after encoding. I cannot figure out why this is. I've tried DVD2AVI and EasyDivx but the same things happening. I'm wondering whether the DVD is the wrong format as i encode PAL 4:3 25FPS as it plays in that format (through WinDVD). I'm gonna try encoding NTSC 29.97FPS at 4:3 and see what happens.
I never thought of trying a different player ( ), but i've deleted the Avi now. Oh well. I'll try again and let yu know what happens.
FYI it's a Music DVD i'm trying to rip.
Thanks.

Well!!...i'm utterly P****d off now. I've tried everything i can but to no avail. I encoded the video in FlaskMpeg with LPCM support but got no audio. So i extrcactd the audio using DVD2AVI. That worked. Then i used FlaskMpeg to encode the video only. That worked (or so i thought). The problem at this point was the video plays at 18FPS not 25FPS. I tried using the players mentioned but they all played at the same speed.
I GIVE UP!!!!!
Thanks for the help anyway...:)

18fps,..25fps strange I thought u used an NZSC source with 29.976fps,..
If u use a PAL Source (25fps) with DVD2AVI don't activate Force Film or try something like reconstruct progressive!
