hi !
i was just watching a divx 4 encoded movie with wmp decoded with divx 5 codec. it seemed like divx 5 drops some frames when decoding divx 4 movies.
2 questions:
is it really the case that divx 5 drops some frames of divx 4 encoded movies ?
and if yes - i've read how to install both codecs to use divx 4 for playing divx 4 movies. but it always says that i have to install divx 4 first. is there a way to install both codecs and to decide which one to use when encoding or decoding (playback) if i've installed divx 5 first (it's already installed on the system)? or does soemone at least know how to completely uninstall divx 5 to have a clean system before installing divx 4 first ?
