5.0.1 psychovisuals + ffdshow = jerky?

Anyone who has experimented with 5.0.1 psychovisual filtering and running ffdshow filter for playback? It's skipping frames for me (CPU is not pegged). ffdshow works fine for 5.0.1 encodes w/o psychovisuals as well as xvid on my machine.

Glad you brought this up b0b0b0b. I have the same dropped frames problem. Actually, I thought this occurred with all Divx 5 files due to the B-frames. I will try to test an encode without Psychovisuals to see if the playback gets better.

I´m watching movies encoded with divx 5.0 and B-frames with ffdshow filter, and have no dropped frames ;)

I only have problems with psychovisuals enabled. w/o it the movie plays fine.

With Divx 5.0.1 I have problem even without psichacoustic, when I use b-frames and ffdshow. It seems something has changed between 5.0 and 5.0.1.
