Whats the pros and cons on cropping?

Honestly this forum is not as up on this as much as maybe the Avisynth forum or maybe the SVCD forum, but I think you are better off in Avisynth. If you post there make sure to give more info. Such as the source material(mpg, AVI?), source type NTSC or PAL.
