How do i attach a jpg here???

But my vote goes for Shayne logo.
I will copy your logo (with your permission, of course), print it in a big A4 page, and use that page for cover in my print stuff about xvid (guides, tips from the forum, etc., i like to read on paper, not on monitors, call me old fashion :D

I just thought it was missing the video logo but thanks for your two cents you always seem to have that K and we are happy for that. XviD is free and so is this Rui I have a 300 dpi PS if required.

I would feel honored, to render it in povray and make an animated gif of it ;)
But in the moment i'm heavy busy in my job... especially today and right now ( hence the delay ) :(

My first povray version was 1.03 about 1988 on an 8 MHz Acorn Archimedes 32 bit risc machine ( ohh, the good times... :D )
It had no interface at all and was a single commandline tool. It was very fruststrating, looking at the picture next day only to see one has accidentially exchanged the camera coordinates to 'nowhere' :mad:
But the output was always outstanding ( then and now ) when it was configured correctly.

In the end all MPEG4 codecs will be quite the same anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer XviD above all others because they are the only ones that don't use agressive and weird marketing and sales to promote their shite...

hanty, i really like the "spacey" look of your logo! i got it set as my wallpaper if you don't mind... is the pic free? :rolleyes:
now everytime i start my computer i know that i'm using a piece of professional software!

With regard to animating Xvid started good but died here is a start not the greatest but it might start something

Well, it's a logo, and it's supposed to include XviD. Not many ways you can fiddle with that.

It is influenced by the architechure and art of the ancient rome, Niemism. Where men of art would displace their creations slightly to the left since that was the side that lay closest to the heart.

OK. Here's my 2c. This logo is made for a particular webpage (xvid.net) but I can adapt it for only Xvid. Tell me what u think.

Erm.

I wrote already that it's of no use to design a logo for xvid.

There is already a logo and noone of the core developers showed somewehere any interest in a new design?!
