is it worth upgrading to 5.0.1 from 5.0?

is it really worth upgrading to 5.0.1 from 5.0? i am having problems with errors (log not found) when i open to encode with vdub. dont know if it is worth researching and getting the problem resolved with 5.0.1 or just to stay with 5.0. your wisdom, pleeeeease!!!!

You really should upgrad to 5.01. There are many bug fixes. Some of which are very necessary, while others simply improve the quality of the encode, like psychovisuals. Check out divx.com for the exact changes. But there really should be no imcompatability issues with Divx 5.01, especially with the latest vdub 1.4.10, which handles B-frames much better for Divx 5.01. D/L the latest Divx and VDub and you should be find.
