im running windows 2000 and cant run WMP 6.4 yet i need a way to figure out what codec was used for the video files im watching

so how can i tell what audio codec was used w/o WMP 6.4?

yes i have done forums searchs, however i couldnt really find anything that way

U could try VirtualDub -> File -> File Information...
