Hi,
I read a lot in this forum what I can do when my rip is undersized. I ripped the Movie "Ghost Of Mars" (planed: 2CD SBC with 3.11a and 1xAC3 Stream). GKnot Calculated me a Bitrate about 1588 and I used a resolution of 640x256. The result of this rip was a videostream with only 800 MB :scared: . I tested it with a higher bitrate (2066) but the movie was than only 400 MB  . Why could that. And resizing the resolution ?. If I do it so I have read it here to get my size (1000 GB videostream) I have to chosse a resolution higher than 800x???. But that SuXx. I read something about Bicubic or something. What is that and what happen with that.

I hope you understand me (my bad english  )

First of all, I have no idea how you could have raised your bitrate without changing anything else and get a smaller file size. If anything, the size would remain the same if you reached max compressability.

If I remember right, that movie has a high percentage of dark scenes and probably compress pretty well. Try for a 1 cd rip and see what it looks like.
