Sorry if this is a bit newbie or if it is already answered (i did do a search but to no avail)

Okay so you get a dvd thats too big for a dvd 5 - transcode it and rip the audio, import to dvd maestro then create the project to bring back the vobs.

Is it possible to keep the dvd menus and chapter selection etc.

I read about transfering the new chapter point over from the one dvd maestro creates to the original but that is as far as i got. should the dvd menus and movie play fine from there ?

Help needed.. please.. seeing as I asked nice ;)

after you reauthor your dvd to match the amount of cells and at the exact positions, you copy over the cell data into the old ifo file. More on that here (http://doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-cce.htm) . If that is done successfully then all menus and chapter selection should correctly correspond to the points in the movie

Just to say thanks again to yourself and Jason2 as his CCE/IFOEDIT working method thread helped a lot.

I now have a fully working DVD of Terminator 2 Ultamite Edition with all menus, subs, audio etc.
