I've tryed many players but I can't find one which is able to jump to a specific frame in the middle of a divx AND stop there.
I like to do frame by frame comparison between different codec and encoding options but when I have to stop on the same frame of the two files it's a pain.
Virtuadub can do this easily by seeking the keyframe immediatly before the required point, than playing to the point. The drawback is the poor quality render of the virtuadub preview window.
I don't understand why a player can't do this.
Anyone knows a player able to do this ?
