Hi everyone,
I tried yesterday to convert a diVx movie (Starship Troopers) to 3 mpeg2 files using CCE VBR 4 passes with DVD2SVCD (AVI2SVCD on). I got 2 or 3 message errors from CCE like this one and had to resume:
cce encoding failed: Error: Video check-sum is diferent from that of previous pass.
Source video data or time code may be different
Please check video tape or the information file

---information---
Current: check sum=0003d3dd
Previous: check sum=007f0200
----------------------------------------------------------------
I also noticed that in the beginning of the process DVD2SVCD gave me that message:
The original video framerate of 23.979 is not supported. The framerate will be adjusted!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I've checked the safe encoding and convert divx3 to divx4 options on. Has anyone tried this before successfully or is VirtualDub or TMPEnc more suited for this work? Do I need filters? I have Divx (fast and slow motion), Divx 5.0 and Huffyuv codecs installed already.
Thanks for the help
Long live DVD2SVCD!
