Zero dropped frames in iuVCR--is this accurate?

I'm on a P3-733 with Win2K and a FlyVideo '98 card, and with iuLab's WDM drivers and iuVCR I can _reliably_ capture up to 768x576 in Huffy with zero dropped frames and no sync issues.

Which I thought was pretty awesome until I noticed how many people in this forum seem to have problems with the said software.

So now I'm wondering: are the stats reported by iuVCR accurate, or can frames slip through the cracks without the program saying so? I find it hard to believe that I'm practically the only one getting great results here. :)

I had similar experience using the last version of iuvcr (4.0.0.222)and the WDM driver by Eduardo Jose Tagle, version 5.2.2.
My PC is a PIII 770 with ATI TV Wonder VE running in Windows2K.
I can capture 640x480x25fps with huffyuv, zero frame droped and audio in sync.This is better than avi_io.
The previous version, 4.0 beta 5, had audio sinc issues.
It looks like there is a new champion.

Great. Right after I open my big mouth I discover dropped frames on my new mobo. :) Gotta look into that....

Sorry, but for capturing virtualdub_sync is the champion.
It is free and the functionality is damn good. So why pay for such software?
