im ripping a movie the nandub SBC way. but the rip woun`t get larger than 1.17 GB(i`m aming for a 2 cd release) no matter how high i push the bitrate.. can any one tell of other important settings that can effect this..

btw; no, my HD is not full ;)

Hi-

It sounds as if you maxxed out the file size. The first thing to try is to raise the resolution. Then give it better quality audio-take off any smoothers or denoisers you might have on it-knock off curve compression-put on another audio track. But some movies are just so compressible that it's hard to fill up 2 CDs.

I think you`re right, the movie size is maxxed out, kinda strange since it`s 133 min long.. but I tried it as 1 cd rip, and WOW!! super quality @ 573 VBR, btw it`s fight club..

guess some movies are just really rip friendly, probably has something to do with motion and lightning(less contrast)?! just like matrix which is a rather "dark" movie.
