Hi!
I have the following problem! With Powerdvd I can play an AC3 File with 4 Channels Support. After copying it into the Avi I only have 2 Channels. In graphedit the intervideo Codec only allows 2 Channels. Is it my Soundcard (SBLive Value (4Ch))? Where can I get a multichannel Version of iviaudio.ax?

uhm, did you try downloading the audiofilters.zip file from Doom9's download section?
Have you had a look at the AC3 FAQ also? If not I suggest you do so immediately and it will give some ideas why only 2ch is supported for your.

Yeah! I still tryed this! Is there no "Brute-Force-Methode" (regkeys) or something? Under PowerDVD all Sounds comes from the left channel and in the WMP or PowerDivx only 2 Channels are supported! Are there maybe other Codecs instead of Intervideo?

I don't know but maybe Cyberlink's filters will work for you. I've never tried them really.
It sounds like the Intervideo filters just don't support your card properly which is the case of several Creative cards. If this isn't the case then it has to be a configuration issue with Creative's software or driver.

Powerdvd doesn;t suport *in my tests* ac3 audio streams in avi properly.
it sounds like an intervideo thing. the plugin itself wotn elt you pick 3 channal as in it's greyed out?
well you could try downlaoding a full version of windvd
i dunno if the doom9 version is multichanal or not, i dont belive it is.

PowerDVD XP works just fine with AVI and AC3 for me.
Yes the Doom9 audiofilter pack is multichannel capable, again it works fine for 2 different non-Creative cards I have here.
