Has anyone tried using frameserving with 1.4.10 ? Virtualdub won't even recognize the signpost file as valid.
I reinstalled 1.49 and frameserved to Tmpg and all was fine again.
Just wondering if it's something I did or didn't do or if it's broke :(

Yes, I confirm.
Under WinXP it gives this error:" MSVCR70.DLL not found". It doesn't work neither with Virtual Dub. I mean: with a firts istance of Vdub a create the frameserver, with the second one I open the vdr file and it reports the error.
Version 1.4.9 works fine.

It seems VD or a part of it was already compiled with VC7. I've seen those runtime dlls at ffdshow's homepage.

Putting the following DLL into your System directory should solve problems involved with apps compiled in VC7..

Hope that helps,

You don't imagine how long I was trying to get this working; it was that damn msvcr70.dll that was missing!
I need Virtualdub frameserving because I am converting from Divx to SVCD with separate subtitles (converted from SUB to SSA format). Untill I find a better (and simple) way of doing this, I'll have to use virtaldub.
Thanks againg Nic.
