I waited 3 days to ask this.........
I'm tryign to "back up" Planet of the apes.
My goal is to make a 2 cd rip, with 3 audio tracks and i'm runing into several roadblocks
the tracks are
1: 384 kb/s ac3
2: has been either a 98 kb/s ac3 or a 64 kb/s 24 khz mp3 (for space) (comentary)
3: has been a 96 kb/s 48 khz mp3 or a 80 kb/s oog (isolated score)
I think i want the impsoble, this is what i've tried.
avisplit calc, detects the 4 streams but gives an error, i expected thsi cus nandub does nto recognize the 4th stream and drops it,
I have only been anpel to get a sucessful mux with avi mux usign ac3/mp3. It not suportign ooh is why i switched it to a 96 mp3
oogmux doesn't suport teh ac3's and i relaly wanan keep the 5.1 mux, i made a 5.1 oog *it soudsn gret and saves 50 meg...nice :-)* but i dotn have an analog amp, only 4 chanal analog or spdif, an d the only thing that decodes multichanal oog seems to be the winamp plugin (very nice btw)
Muxing mulipel avi's in nandum, cutting them, splitign out the audio, doesn;t work because the file size are much larger then the fiel cut in half, *i guess becasue of interleave data* so i no longer hit my target filesize
splitign the mp3's manually in cool edit and muxing half in avimux works, except the audio is all messed up...the ac3 cuts in and out every half second, the 96 mp3 plays normally and the 64 kb/s 224 khz mp3 plays doublespeed.
So, is thsi possible, or am i trying to get 2 fancy?
i hate to make 3 3d rips, 2 is bad enough, the picture quality is supurb *divx 5.01 720x304* the main audio is flawless obviosly cus of the ac3, and if i puck eithe r the dc or the ims, it's great with room to spare for my menu and microdvd ini, but i have the space, or so i thought for all 3, i'd be nice ya know.
