I have searched hig and low but i think this prob is unique:
Movie: What women want - 16:9, PAL, Reg 4 I have used Smartripper as DVD2SVCD has problems. the entire process from this point onwards, no errors all looks OK, Then using CDRwin i have sync problems. Using PowerDVD i checked the both bbmpegdemux****00.mpg file and they are both OK. However after the CD is burned, the audio sync is out. video 1st then audio 2nd

I re-ran using recovery and selected mux and cutting and then recreated the bin and cue files, once again i checked bbmpegdemux****00.mpg in powerdvd and it was perfect, i then burned it in CDRWin 4.0a at 2X this time (4x 1st time) and it was off sync again.

I have found threads that say:
1) the DefaultTitlepicture.bmp gets in the way and the audio can get out of sync -> True?
2) removing the DefaultTitlepicture.bmp will solve the prob, however, i want to keep the pic
3) to use VCDeasy instead of CDRWIN - which is better? daemon tools does not work in my pC
4) it is best to rip 2CH audio than 6CH, takes shorter and avoid sync issues? is this correct?

I found also this thread by xabat

saying that adjusting the bbMPEG settings will make it work, has anyone had success with this? from 180 delay to 230 can anyone confirm this?

Also the original pic size is as below
DefaultTitlepicture.bmp 240x240x24b file size:169KB
my own pic.bmp 480x400x24b file size:739KB
I can only try and make it less color so as to bring the size smaller, what should max file size be for the pic? mine might be too big?

possible solutions????
Thank you to all

Where are your logs?
Have you read the Mandatory Read Post?
Have you read the Q + A that says clearly that Smartripper is known to cause A/V sync issues?
Did you try Vstrip that is included to rip?
