Quality of dvd2avi ??

what is the quality of dvd2avi 1.86 with bicubic filter build in :

equal to avisynth+ vdub with only bicubic filter ??

how doing the 2 pass at the begining of the process . i must do manually for the moment .

is there some documentation about this version.

I find the quality flawless with a dvd source,

there relaly is no need to do much pre processing to a mpeg2 source anyway....

i only use vdub for audio and avi/mpg quicktiem re-encs

as of right nwo you can;t batch the 2 passes in dvd2avi that iv'e sene yet...but it's also WAY faster then avisyth frame serving into vdub.

The resize filters of DVD2AVI 1.86 are avisynth's filters so they have the same quality as avisynth.

I don't know if there is some quality differences between vdub and avisynth

I don't know about the quality since I don't care about
Crop and Resize feature in DVD2AVI,
I'm using DVD2AVI just for .d2v and .wav file.

I'm using AviSynth to do that, I think you know why ;)

if the quality of dvd2avi is as good as vdub+avysynth .it 'very interinsting to use dvd2avi (very speed)
