View Full Version : Extract AC3 in nandub ..how ????

Hy .... I was really happy when I did my first divx with ace audio.

But now I am disapointed , because I need to extract to resample an Ac3 audio mixed with nandub but I only get a wav file.

I know that wav is ace but I cant do nothing with it ....




What may I do ??? :confused:

If you load your avi into nandub and choose 'save wav' it will extract your ac3.

The resulting file will have a .wav extension but its really an ac3. You may also run it through the 'ac3fix' utility that you can get from the download section here at doom9.

Well now I am going to make same question but .... with 2 audio streams .. 1 in ac3 the other in mp3 ...

If I try to save wav I only get a wav file .... mmm :confused:

You got me there, I bet it can be done with graphedit but i'm no expert with that tool.

[EDIT] or yo ucould try selecting no audio from the main stream and ac3 or mp3 or whatever for the secondary stream?

Unless I'm just blind...I don't seem to see it anywhere
--or is it not called ac3fix?

just to clariy what he said about 5%....
Audio has to be on direct stream copy. It is its defualt so you prolly didn't have a problem, just so you know if its on full processing mode it will try to convert it to whichever compression you have set in audio->compression. Which is accually a PCM wav by defualt

File-> Save Wav...
That option should
File-> process audio from currently set up audio

you get the idea
