Training Day to 2 DVD-R's

I followed the method of splitting the DVD. Then I copied the missing files into each of the dirs. Adjusted the # of chapter, etc. It plays perfectly in IfoEdit and in PowerDVD 4.0. After I burned the disc it plays perfectly in the PC. When I put it into my set top player it just goes to a black screen. Anyone do this DVD and have a step by step for it. Like which files should go on each disc. Where you split it etc.

i have this too on a couple of dvdr's. does it work if you select the menu or press play, this cures it for me?

It starts playing right away and just shows a black screen. I tried to press menu and play. On a Sony DVD player it shows "Title 10" when I insert it. Does that mean anything?
