hi Rasi,
Sure, you have to use GKnot or other bitrate calculator to get the
final file size.
It's not possible to get the final file size use DVV2AVI,
at this time.

If you donīt want to get 700 MB exactly, then you can use this simple formula:
Final size(KB) - Audio Size(KB) = Video Size(KB)
Important note: You have to insert the values in KB (1024 Byte = KByte)
But I rcommend to only use this frormula if u use OGM, since avi-VBR-mp3 has a big overhead. If you use avi-VBR-mp3, then you should calculate with gknot.

If you download my version ( http://nic.dnsalias.com ) it comes with a very simple bitrate calc for xvid....

of course - I donīt know how Iīve forgotten that ;)
btw, does this calculator calculate overhead in a way?

Doh! I just noticed there is a minor bug in the calc of the xvid mini calc....Im updating the calc (with overhead) & putting a version of it into DVD2AVI.
(Im assuming that GKnot calculates this perfectly....(as im basing my figures on that))
(Implemented Smart Crop today in DVD2AVI...its only since Ive started implementing things like that, ive realised what a huge job GKnot must have been....& how well TheWEF managed it! :) )
Cheers,
-Nic
