Conversion FILM --> PAL

Hi,

i have posted the question how to
convert a movie from 23.976 fps to 25 fps
a few days ago.

I followed the steps bobotns mentioned:

- convert the movie with VirtualDub to 25 fps
- adjust the lenght of the audio-file with
WaveLab, Cooledit or WLA to the lenght of the
movie-file

Now, the two files have exactly the same lenght and
all seems perfect - nevertheless the movie
gets out of sync more and more and at the and of
the movie there is a difference of approx. 3-4 sec !!!

Can you help me???? :confused: :confused: :confused:

If that doesn't work, than take the original length of your audio and divide it with 25, than multiply it with 23,976

Example:
Original WAV length: 95m:36s:442ms (this are 5.736.442ms)
Adjust the length to: 5.736.442 / 25 x 23,976 = 5.501.477ms = 91m:41s:477ms
