Hummm.

This guide it's very old (also), simply that now is only over the options the Codec (not guide of various programs: SmartRipper, Dvd2Avi, etc...), not... it's only over the new options the Codec.

But, if your are molest, sorry (my intention is not offend nobody) and nothing personal.

Hi, i am from Portugal, and i want to congratulate DiegoFG for is excellent guide. I understand Spanish, and i must say that, in some parts, your guide is even more complete than Doom9's xvid guide (please Doomm9, interpret this has a constructive criticism).
Is very up to date.

This guide is ownership of the my old friend "Mefisto".
We have much e-mails with Isibaar, uManiac and Koepi with many questions and yours answers, over each option of the XviD (they are persons very serious).

Actually it's no big deal to just translate the codec's text boxes and tooltip items into whatever language you please - as long as it isn't some two-byte variant like japanese ;)

I was organising this with another young chap but things just keep getting pushed back as I run out of time. Arg.

and I think that I have something to say to Kyo.
1. - I don't know that you see funny.
2. - this guide is based on the original of Koepi (I have gone incorporating the new options)
3. - I have the authorization of Koepi to translate to Spanish.
4. - the guide seeks to explain the use of all options of the codec.
5. - this guide doesn't seek to be the best guide in Spanish, it only seeks to be an useful tool to spread the use of this wonderful codec.
6. - next time that you want to talk about the work of somebody, I ask you you to make it with respect.

On the other hand, I want thank to DiegoFG their help and their words. I also want to thank to Koepi, uManiacs and Issibar that answered all our emails (to DiegoFG and my), as well as to all those that you participate in the forum. Your work and your collaboration have made possible that this guide is a reality.

The only thing that i see funny is the fact that XviD Guides in Spanish are really extinct :p

Funny didn't mean about the author or the guide!
I know this is a good work. Besides i never say that my guide
is/are better or the only in Spanish, just other guide nothing more.

hmm I think that all these discussions are a bit silly, and I´m not going to get no more than barely involved on them, but at this moment I know of 5 different XviD tutorials in spanish, not three, and none of them is something official I think at this moment.
what´s the point with this? a competition among tutorial writters?

Don´t know what are you spaniards talking about ;)
Kyo has only stated that "something" is funny, at least for him. I have not seen any offense anywhere. Please be aware that there are many non-native english speakers on the forums, and misunderstandings are usual. Take it easy! :)
