When I follow the guide for ripping a Divx movie with FlaskMPEG it recommends to select 128 kbs for the audio codec, but when I do this then go to flask it, I get an error saying to make sure the output file is not in use or something, however the output file isn't in use. How can I fix this, I did everything else like the guide said

a fast 'fix' is to deinstall all mp3 codec (multimedia=>Hardware=>Audiocodecs (something like this) )
reboot and install just one mp3 codec
and everything should work

How exactly would I do that? Also, I think I only have 1 aduio codec on my computer, at least one mp3 one that installed, the radium mp3 codec, is there a different one I should use?

no radium is fine but u shoudl install the codec and all other mp3 codecs on your system,.. another app may have installed one.
(I hope the following will help, thanx to the fact that I got a german win2k instalaltion I'm not too sure if my translation of the sektion you have to go is correct, so be a bit tolerant ;) )
go to
System Properties
then to
Sound and Multimedia
then to
Hardware
then to
Properties

here u deinstall all mp3 codecs
(Frauenhofer, Radium, Lame, DivX Audio,..)

now u have to boot

and reinstall the radium codec and everything should work,..

hope this works, I not it may be helpful if one of the users that work on an english Windows system could discribe the process.

That works and thanks, but before I delete them I have one more question; How do I reinstall them when I am done, like I said, the only one I personally installed was radium, I assume Windows installed the rest, so I just want to know how to install them again once they are gone.

Thanks again for your help

U should one deinstall mp3 codecs, and if windows installed them it normally should work with the radium codec and if not, windows will reinstall them afterwards ;)
(so if u don't deinstall anything that's not a mp3 codec, u shouldn't break anything)
