-h, I'd like to see a'fool-tickbox' (or was that 'checkbox'?) like the old Nandub-fool-option. Some idiots (i.e. me) tend to overwrite their all important 1st-pass stats-files while experimenting a bit with short clips. (Like I did just now, 12 hours of encoding for nothing - aaargh!) For sloppy people it would be nice if there was an option that, when ticked, would let the codec produce new .stats and mv-hint files with each 1st pass instead of overwriting the old ones (like video1.stas, video2.stats...). Would have set-backs, too, but I could really use that.

Yes I know there's a bunch of stuff I should change in the vfw frontend.. but it's just so boring ;)

Actually, I do plan on releasing a new rewritten frontend for it, as well as a simplified version that has about 4 options total (no kidding). But I just need the time.
