13th April 2002, 11:09
Hello everyone,

I tried to convert the movie "3000 miles to Graceland" (PAL/Regio 2) but when the movie wants begin with bbmpeg it says it can't find the file. I'll tried it with 1.0.8.b1 en 1.0.7.b4.

This is my report!

I hope someone can tell my what the problem is. I've looked in Q&A and with the search option but nothing found.

Thanks in advanced

can you verify that the mpv and mp2 files are actually there to be found? If not, where are they?

Maybe the figure 3000 in the folder name is making bbMPEG stumble.

Thanks for the quick answer. The mpv and mp2 file are in the folder. So that isn't the problem. Maybe what DVD2SVCD said about the 3000. I'll shall give it a try tonight give it an other name.

But every help is welcome!

Q29: I used special characters like ( ) [ ] % 1 2 3 001 4 5 6 7 8 9 in my output folder name
A: Don't use these. These characters can be source of problems at least for bbmpeg. Due to sheer number of programs utilized in DVD2SVCD bundle it's better to just stick to your ABC's lest you like to gamble with your time.

This is what causes that error 99.99% of the time. Do not use anything, but letters in folder names. Besides the number you alsy have the character _ in there as well.

Yeah, I better make a validation on that in the next version.

Greetings and have sweet dreams

Goodmorning,

The movie finally has been finished. So the numbers in the foldername were the trouble makers. Thanks for the help!

Bye Bye:D
