Something like DVD2SVCD for Linux ?

Hi there!

As this is my first posting here, i'd like to thank all of you guys for the help so far and the authors of the superb DVD2SVCD! THX !

But i am gonna switch to Linux (Debian) and think of doing this without having a Windows OS on the other partition...

So my question is: Is there a comparable Tool to DVD2SVCD for Linux OS's ?? Please tell me anything about it....

I haven't used it much but from what I've seen the quality isn't as good as CCE but I'll stand corrected.
