Divx to DVD Audio problem

I am trying to put a Divx film onto a Dvd-R.Using TMPGE it does not see the audio and after 4hrs I had a Mpeg2 with no audio.I tried giving the
""Direct Show multimedia file reader"" setting a higher priority.This enabled the audio but the finished Mpeg 2 was realy shakey!!!

Any thoughts?????
