XVCD played off sync in stand-alone

I encoded Jurassic Park III to VCD using TMPGEnc with the
following settings:
resolution 352x240
frame rate 29.97
video bitrate 2300max, 300min CQ 100%
audio bitrate mp2 44100 128 kbps joint stereo

The encoded video is perfect in quality, sounds is good and played
on my PC without any problem even in disc mode using PowerDVD.
When I played it on my stand-alone player, the display is perfect
but the audio is out of synch.

Anyone can suggest how to fix the problem? I tried to encode in
VCD standard but the quality is not good.

Please help me.

You're breaking VDC specs. It can't be guaranteed that players eats that up without a grudge ... as you yourself have expirenced.

yeah, i know it's non-standard. however, i found out that the
problem is in muxing/splitting using TMPEGEnc. Now i fixed it using
bbMPEG.
