nice to see some of the suggestion that myself and other have been making for a 'dvd2dvdr(w)' incorperated in the new release such as the option for a full dvd res encode. however i would have been nice to have been able to select a vcd res. mpeg-ii encode as dvd supports this and is better with svcd bitrates. perhaps integration with ifoedit could enable nice dvd (no menu) image files too?

Ah, be happy with what you got.
This guy has worked his butt off to get where he has and for what?
To have people complain that this free piece of software is not good enough?
It has been said time and time again this is DVD2SVCD not to VCD.

Unlocking this post after a message from the author further explaining the position and doing it in a polite way.
As far as the video size is concerened that is actually pretty easy to do. All you need to do is edit the Avs file. It takes like 2 seconds. As for working with the IFO. I doubt this will ever happen.
