DVD2AVI problem

I am trying to encode "the specialist". After ripping the movie using the internal ripper, the dvd2avi program starts but just doesn't do anything. The boxes in the statistics window are all blank. I've tried vstrip, smartripper, dvddecrypter etc, all without sucess. Has anyone experienced this? Other movies run fine.

did you try to reinstall the program? perhaps one of the dll's got damaged.

Thanks for the reply. Funny I just flipped over the dvd to the fullscreen version and encoded with no problem.
