View Full Version : New DVD2SVCD v1.08 B1 ---> Audio is too short....
tivi
12th April 2002, 18:10
Hi folks!
I tried the new version of D2S. I encoded a PVA sample.
Result: audio is missing at the end.
So I looked into the folder and examined
the extracted Audio:
xxxx.mpa -> correct lenght
xxxx.mp2 -> wrong (too short) length
Tried 48 kHz and 44.1 kHz. The result has been the same.
Too short.
Then I tried BeSweet v1.2 b6 and everything was fine!
Any Ideas?

Hi DSPguru!
So - finished the test, but supplied mpglib.dll within
DVD2SVCD v1.07 build 4 is the same supplied within
DVD2SVCD v1.08 build 1: v2.00......??
Nevertheless I did the test:
no improvement.....
Then I noticed, that MP2enc.dll supplied within BeSweet v1.3b9
is never than MP2enc.dll supplied within BeSweet v1.2b6:
v1.129 > v1.12.
So, I did a test with the older one:
no improvement.....
Finally, I tested every possibility interchanging the supplied dlls.
no improvement.....
The only thing that works for me: BeSweet v1.2b6.....
It is a little bit strange, that noone else reports
the same prob........
A friend of mine has the same problem. He called me
and gave me report on this phenomenon. I installed the newest
version of DVD2SVCD and confirmed his observation.
So, what can we do now?
