Sound when playing DVD in IfoEdit

Can anyone tell me if you are supposed to hear any sound when playing a DVD through IfoEdit? I get pictures OK but no sound at all.

What type of stream..? It will not play DTS

It doesn't seem to play anything. I've ripped the DVD using DVD Decrypter then load the ifo file into IfoEdit. I click on Play DVD, the film starts but no sound. I've tried selecting Dolby Digital and DTS from the Sound Menu but that has no effect. The Audio section is greyed out and simply says English (United Kingdom). I can't chose anything else.

Hmmm Not sure... I know it will not play DTS.. but everything else should work .. it does for me anyway... did you just do a straight rip no stripping of streams...? I use smart ripper.. have had no problems with it..
