Need Alt CC. suggestion for...

Dear Forum,

I've never tried using Alt CC.

After I read people talking about Alt CC, makes me want
to try it, but before I go to far with Alt CC,

I hope someone could suggest me Alt CC. such as :
-curve aggression
-high%
-low%
-strength%
which maybe suitable to be used for a given movie character
which I'll describe later below.

the movie is adult movie, which contains 5-8 scenes which
each scene mostly start with people conversation followed
by foreplay (slow), then s#x some positions ;) (mostly fast),
and then ending with post-cum (slow).

So the movie will be slow-fast-slow, slow-fast-slow, slow-fast-slow,
etc. ;)

your post made me smile and think 'it's good to read such posts from time to time'.

So, thank you and please do some scientific research there for us, OK? I'd say, you should at least try the default settings plus another setting and let us know wheter it was an improvement. For the 'other' setting, I recall that Foxer recommended to try it with lo-dist. 90%, hi-dist. 200%, low aggression. Though I suspect that the default settings with their 300% hi/lo-dist. and medium aggression could work better on a movie with extremely high motion.

And strenght at 50% seems to be allright. If you feel you want to improve the 'slow' scenes by reducing the quality of 'fast' scenes, you can raise it. Though I don't think you'll want to.

Humm.. I can't begin to imagine the testing with that build :D :D

coming from someone who does capture mostly. Hence, my sources are from digital satellite feeds, which has a wide range of input qualities and it includes XXX if I chose to view them.

Alt. CC can be used to maximize the quality during compression. However, from what I've found that It depends greatly on the actually quality of the video input which Alt. CC actually does it wonders.

What I've found that low aggression works the best for virtually most inputs including XXX. and the high distant > 170 blur the video and reduces the macroblock(low motion scenes), while the low distant < 95 sharpen the video and thus creates macroblock (high motion scenes). Keep in mind this depends on input quality of the video. Overall, I usually keep my aggression at low, high dist=170~190, and low dist=100~92. As for %strength, it sharpens around 38 and gradually drop at 50 (less macroblock).

Sure, I'll play around with those settings ;)

About "scientific research", I'll try but not promosing,
since my brain doesn't work while dealing with watching
those research subject, as all my blood from my brain
moving down to build human rocket ;) ( I'm kidding ;) )

My objective is to get the best result for the s#x action
(with containing lots of 'fast' scenes) and the above average
for the 'slow' scenes ;)

To be honest, the first time I found the XviD,
I thought the codec is the codec which especialy used for
adult video encoding ;)

I hope someday, someone could add [ ] Enable XXX encoding ;)
which contain optimize Alt CC. for adult movie, LOL.

Thank you for your suggestion, I'll try to play with it.

Fyi, my source is from NTSC-Interlaced DVD,
so I'm also looking good setting which could also remove
the interlaced artifact (combing) and also remove the ghosing
effect (after apply de-interlace filter).
