Where is Doom9's last Codec Comparison gone?

I can't find Doom9's latest Codec Comparison that includes DivX5 anymore. In the document overview and under DivX Guides I can only find the old "Codec Shoot out" that does not include DivX5.

Am I stupid or what?

Also in http://koti.mbnet.fi/website/mpeg4test/ is very good test. In my opionion is that test is better than Doom9.org. Also There test are made without filters, which show how good they codecs really are.

Also compare is very easily.

nice comparison mechanism.. I've been looking for something like that myself but I strongly disagree that not using filters is the way to go. 99% of the people use playback filters and it makes no sense showing them images that they're never going to see in life.
I have tools to show all kinds of differences, including PSNR calculations and other funky stuff but this is mostly useful for developers and engineers and not regular users so I won't bother to do it.

But i and my anyone friends don't use filters. I can't say how many use filters but my friends don't use. That some use and some don't use filters is seems to depend how friends used is. That is like that some communities use linux and some use windows. But without filters you really show what wre they quality. And also many people use filters with difference step/options. Also difference filters work littlebit difference. But point is that if videocodec is good they don't need filters and that is true.

in low bitrate compression much can be gained by activating filtering.. also... every codec turns on rather heavy postprocessing by default.

is it your site btw? I'd like to talk with whoever designed the switch mechanism.

I believe Doom9's just waiting for some sort of release version of XviD before he makes another comparison.

I've already said it in a thread in general discussion.. there will of course be new tests but since they're so time consuming I prefer only to make one when there's sufficiently new codecs available. The next test will include: SBC, DivX5.03 (or later if it's out by the time of the test), RV9, WM9 and XviD 1.0. As you can see one codec still hasn't reached the desired status. There might be even more codecs, I have some ideas on how to get more companies involved (VP5 and some H.264 codec probably) but we'll see that when it's time. I also plan to use a 3rd source (animation, Futurama) due to popular demand. But what I can't answer right now is when it will be done.

would it be possible to do Divx 5.03 (or later) and Divx 5.02 as a lot of us are still using Gknot and 5.02 and it would be interesting to know which one is actually better in the test

reason due to the fact that a lot of people have not upgraded to 5.03 because of others saying the nth pass system is worthless etc and B frames dont work in this release etc(this is not my opinion but i like gknot so i did not upgrade! dont flame!)

anyway if you could that would be most appreciated
