Custom Matrix + Hinted MV + Lumi = Bad Frames

Hi,

I'd like to report a bug. I am not sure who is to blame, but when I use Custom Matrix, Hinted MV, and Luminance Masking, Xvid produces a smearing type effect that distorts the image in a funny pattern. Its really pretty funny to watch.

However, I think the Hinted MV is the culprit, because when I turn it off and use Custom Matrix and Luminance Masking the video is "beautiful" :D

Ok, I hope -h or others are excited for this bug report.

luma masking and MV hints is yet a no go.
Same applies to MV hints and modulated quant type.

Please, follow the forum more carefully next time ;)

Seriously, thanks for the report. But the issue is known from the very first release of that code...

btw. did anyone try if Hinted MV and Custom Matrix work well together,.. I personally don't use it but might be interesting to know. (at least for the developers ;) )

It's in no way interesting as it works, selur.

You should once more think about the concept of MV hints and why they work - or why not...
