About quantizers

Just a simply question (or not?): Is there a way to know the average quantizer used by xvid (2-pass encoding) like divx (analyse.log)?

At the end of the 2nd pass, XviD will print out the count of each quantizer used in the debug log. If you're running dbgview, you'll see something like (can't remember exactly):

Quant 2 frames: 200
Quant 3 frames: 8102
Quant 4 frames: 80110
Quant 5 frames: 2001
Quant 6 frames: 99

You can derive the average from that I suppose.

i dunno why, but i've never seen that before. i suppose i haven't been looking that hard, but i do have my last dbgview log saved here and there's definitely nothing like that at the end of it. is there any reason why that might not show up? i'm using nic's april 5 build, by the way.
