Hi

I recently got a burner (I know..newbie!). Before this I was using DVD2SVCD (great programme!!...wish he would write one for DVD2DVD!) with CCE.

Now that my background. I have a problem with audio sync when i merge (in spruceup...or tmpeg) video and audio files.

Here's what i did:

1 - Used dvddecrypter...movie files and the VTS 1 ifo file.

2 - Used dvd2avi. Create new project, demux all audio (to keep ac3..right?).then save project. So I end up with a project file and an AC3 file.

3 - Used VFAPIConv to create a fake avi so CCE could read it

4 - Used the doom guide for CCE encoding (www.doom9.org/mpg/cce-advanced.htm).....by the way..took 3 hours, and reduced the movie from about 7.5gb to 2.1gb....and great quality....remeg does not even come close.

5 - Loaded ac3 and mpv file into Spruceup.....only to get audio sync prob's!.......sob!!!

What did i forget to do?.......so sort of audio delay thing?

Any help at would be great.

cheers

Did the audio file that was created by DVD2AVI indicate there was a delay? It would show as part of the file name of the AC3 file with something like "DELAY -83ms". If so you have to correct it with AC3 corrector to get it in sync.
