Look at right corner of jpg (http://free.polbox.pl/m/misfit/divx501.jpg). Every my divx movie looks like that after installing divx501.
When I'm playing it on Divx Player 2.0 everything is ok. But that player is $%%&#$%@

Any props ? :)

I said in last post that movies played on divx player are ok...
Yes they are but... with default image settings :) (brightness, contrast, etc). When I want to change brightness/contrast a bit, then screen is changing except that piece on right side - it stays with default settings (my earlier jpg) :)

i can confim that...
i think its only a "little" bug they can fix fast

(but i dont use brightness, contrast, ... of the codec, that does the graphicscard better (without loss in performance) - so i'll stay at 5.01):)

I can confirm that.. I beta tested divx5.01 but of course I never tried that out.. (and I have zero use for such sliders).

i also find this bug

The bar show during Brightness > 50

I use the free version (not pro)

if you have a look at the decoder property you'll see that it's all divx pro.. the decoder isn't any different in any of the 3 versions as far as I know (we can compare filesize and date if you want.. I have the registered pro edition - legally registered even but I got it for free ;)

i also have this dark bar on the right edge.
but: i never used the contrast/brightness sliders of divx5.01, i used the virtual-dub filter.
and: i also see this bar when i play back divx5.0 encoded stuff.

how can this be?

"i also see this bar when i play back divx5.0 encoded stuff."
it doesnt matter waht u playback, whenever u use the DX5 DSFilter and change brigthness&co u'll get the effect

"i used the virtual-dub filter"
Ehmm,.. what filter? Could it be that it uses the DX5 filters?

well, i click on "filters" in virtual dub, select "brightness&contrast" and adjust it.
so it shouldnt use dx5 filters, right?

but it seems this is irrelevant anyways, i
didnt know this bar is caused by the playback filter,
i thought it was in the encode.

No it's from the playback filter, if u use ffdshow to playback DivX5 everything looks fine,..

@ Doom9:

Are you sure the decoder filter is the same?. If you install the Pro ad-supported codec, the codec adjust window is orange, but if you install the basic codec this window is blue.
But...if you install first the Pro, de-install this and install the basic codec, the orange "Pro" window remains here.
